Have You Heard Her Sing?

Ariana Grande, Grammy Award winning recording artist, is known for having a wide vocal range.  She is able to sing four octaves, that’s so impressive. The typical person can sing two octaves.  In the past she has been compared to Mariah Carey for her whistle register. What do I mean by whistle register you’re asking?  It is the highest register of the human voice. If you want to know what it sounds like, you should listen to Imagine by Ariana Grande.  Imagine was released in December of 2018 as a single from her fifth album, “Thank U, Next.” I’m sure that you have heard this song by now because it was on the US Billboard Hot 100, peaking at number 21.  Even though the song was a hit, she is not performing it on the Sweetener/Thank U, Next World Tour. The lyrics in the song are about her past relationships. The song is considered R&B and pop along with a trap inspired rhythm.  In the song, you are able to hear her vocals go from an A3 to a C7; not everyone can sing that high. It is amazing how some people, a lot of celebrities, have such a wide vocal range.
